The Abbey School is seeking to appoint four highly effective Teaching Assistants, to start from 28th August 2025.
The successful candidates will work closely withstudents who have Education, Health and Care Plans, providing tailored support to help them achieve their potential. This includes working within our Specialist Resource Provision, delivering targeted interventions and adapting learning to meet each student's needs. Working collaboratively with our SENCO, teachers, and external professionals, you’ll play a key role in ensuring inclusive education both in the SRP and mainstream classroom.
This is afull time, permanent role, Term Time Only, paid based on the Kent Scheme Pay Scale point KSA-Top (FTE £24,513 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £18,287 per annum).
The working pattern for this position will consist of Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30, with a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
