Senior Full Stack Engineer
Salary - up to £75,000 + bonus
Join our fully remote, global team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will lead the design and development of core services, working across frontend and backend to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
This role suits someone who thrives on both technical and product challenges, combining strong engineering skills with the ability to shape solutions that meet customer needs. You will have scope to take ownership end-to-end, while working closely with teammates to build a platform with lasting impact.
Your responsibilities
* Define and drive the technical vision and strategy
* Design and build scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
* Own the full development lifecycle
* Be hands-on with coding
* Evaluate and implement modern frameworks, tools and best practices
* Balance user needs and product limitations
* Make decisions on short-term delivery vs long-term vision
Your qualifications
Required
* 5+ years' experience as a software engineer, including recent product company experience
* Professional experience with PHP and Python
* Professional experience with Vue.js or other relevant frontend frameworks
* Excellent understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and HTTP protocols
* Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway and EventBridge
* Strong Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture
* Strong with NoSQL databases
* Ability to create and maintain clear documentation
* You use AI to work more efficiently and accurately
Desirable
* Experience educating teams on best coding practices and principles
* Track record of collaborating with management to support engineer growth and performance
* Passionate about streamlining development processes for all team members
* Experience in creating commercially viable AI products
* Experience with Rust or Golang
* Experience with gRPC and protocol buffers
