Overview:
Accountable for the maintenance and update of the Document Management System and Technical Library.
Responsibilities:
* Accountable for the correct issuing of drawings and other materials from the Document Management System as requested by all functions and production personnel.
* Responsible for the generation, update and maintenance of the Technical Control Manuals (TCM's) for various projects on site.
* Provide engineering data support to all areas (i.e. engineering, quality, production, and any other area as required).
* Assist in the implementation of visual displays and control documents to assist in the communication of quality and engineering information within the business.
* To ensure information published to the supply chain is topical.
* Create and maintain manual and electronic filing and recording systems in support of Engineering Control.
* Ensure timely support of engineering data in preparation on new bids and estimates.
* Enable new business introduction by co-ordinating the flow of engineering information in and from the site.
Qualifications:
* One year relevant office experience, including implementing and maintaining paper and electronic filing systems.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently if required.
* Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
* A good standard of education with knowledge of office procedures.
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
* Attention to detail is essential.
