Working Hours
Hours per week, including early mornings and late evenings, Monday to Sunday.
About the Role
As a Lifeguard, you'll ensure the safety of pool users, supervise activities, maintain cleanliness, and handle pool equipment responsibly. Your role is crucial to enabling safe and enjoyable pool experiences.
Team and Development
Work within a supportive team environment, with opportunities for training, development, and benefits such as free leisure access and discounts. No qualification? No problem—fully funded Lifeguard courses are available throughout the year, with the next scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 6 pm, at Maidstone Leisure Centre.
About You
You should have excellent customer service skills, be safety-conscious, vigilant, and capable of handling pressurized situations. Strong swimming skills and a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (Royal Life Saving Society) or equivalent are essential. If you don't have this qualification, consider applying to our upcoming NPLQ course.
