SThree is pleased to announce we’re recruiting for a talented Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our team at our Cadworks Office, Glasgow, on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.
The Accounts Payable Team Leader will manage the daily operations of the accounts payable team, ensuring deadlines are met and serving as the first point of escalation for suppliers and employees.

Day-to-day responsibilities
* Ensure timely processing of invoices and expenses within service level agreements
* Monitor support tickets to ensure compliance with SLAs
* Handle queries with accuracy and transparency
* Track the progress of invoices in line with delegation of authority
* Respond promptly to approver questions
* Report issues to IT promptly
* Review employee expenses for policy compliance
* Address employee questions regarding expenses
* Escalate expenses outside policy to relevant parties
* Manage monthly corporate card reconciliation and submission
* Monitor parked and blocked documents for timely posting
* Review daily team workload to ensure all tasks are completed
* Serve as the first escalation point for suppliers and employees
* Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings
* Set goals and development plans for direct reports
* Coach and mentor team members on Accounts Payable processes
Required skills and knowledge
* Experience or studying towards a recognized accounting qualification
* Previous supervisory experience in accounts payable
* Proficiency in MS Office (VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)
* Knowledge of financial systems, preferably SAP, BW, and Business Objects
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Adaptability to various situations and individuals
* Knowledge of escalation procedures to senior management
