Job Description:
Role: Planning and Logistics Manager
Reporting to: Senior Operations Manager
Location: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production and logistics of orders, ensuring timely and complete deliveries, effective communication with logistics providers, managing stock levels using Sage 200, and maintaining compliance with export documentation and standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan bulk/retail/oat drink orders into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
2. Coordinate with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
3. Maintain accurate stock records on Sage 200.
4. Communicate with senior management and finance to manage stock levels based on sales forecasts.
5. Work with the Sales Department to update and maintain sales forecasts.
6. Manage relationships with logistics companies to ensure delivery requirements are met.
7. Investigate and resolve delivery complaints from customers.
8. Ensure all export customs documentation is accurate.
9. Perform other tasks as required by the business.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience with Sage 200.
* Data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
* Experience with KPIs related to order fulfillment and warehouse audits.
Personal Attributes:
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
