We have an exciting opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our Imaging team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full‑time, permanent basis and receive a competitive salary plus benefits.
Main duties of the job
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the qualified radiographers with their day‑to‑day duties and providing patient support for patients attending the imaging department at OSH.
* Providing a flexible approach to working days/hours to meet the needs of the service.
* Working on a shift basis, 37.5 hours per week over a 7‑day rota during hospital operating hours, with the rota subject to change in order to meet operational needs and requiring weekend and bank holiday work.
About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Minimum five GCSEs or equivalent (Grades A‑C) to include Math, English and a Science Subject, or NVQ Level.
* Experience undertaking patient care, tasks and activities across modalities, ideally within a healthcare/private healthcare setting.

Experience
* Demonstrate a range of core skills to competently undertake patient care, tasks and activities across modalities.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or prior knowledge of medical imaging.
