About this role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Door Fitter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fire door installation, with a proven track record of working to BM TRADA and FIRAS certification standards.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality, compliant fire door installations across a variety of commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install and maintain fire doors in accordance with BM TRADA and FIRAS standards
* Conduct fire door inspections and remedial works
* Ensure all work is compliant with current fire safety regulations and best practices
* Accurately complete installation and compliance documentation
* Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience fitting fire doors
* BM TRADA and/or FIRAS accreditation
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
* Full UK driving license
* Bolster experience
