As a PE Assistant, you will play a key role in lifeguarding school swimming provision, supporting PE classes and taking a trauma-informed approach to building relationships with young people.
This will be a varied and evolving remit, guided by the school, however the importance of positive relationships and using sport and physical activity for positive change will remain at the core.
Key Responsibilities
* Hold an NPLQ and maintain professional development requirements
* Take a child-centred approach to activity provision
* Support children’s rights and advocate for children
* Work collaboratively with school staff, Sport Aberdeen colleagues, local partners, and young people to evolve provision
