About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Coventry team on a part-time basis (28 hours per week, spread over 4 days). This role offers a competitive salary of up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00), along with a range of fantastic benefits!
Your Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making.
* Maintain high standards through quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents.
What We’re Looking For
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
* Strong IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
* A full driving license and access to your own car.
Working Conditions
Your office will be based in Long Eaton, with a standard caseload covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire. Most locations will be within an hour's drive, but flexibility may be required for team collaboration.
