The Role:
The role is based from our Wakefield head office but involves nationwide work in the field and travel with overnight stays in hotels.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to working instructions from internal and external clients.
2. Carry out topographical and associated geomatic surveys, in accordance with company procedures and best practice, typically involving a combination of Total Station, 3d Laser Scanning and GNSS observations.
3. Undertake post processing of data and production of outputs using survey software
4. Compile survey reports and documentation, in conjunction with the Project & CAD Manager.
5. Maintain vehicles and survey equipment and in line with company expectations.
6. Undertake internal and external training, as part of personal professional development plan.
7. Demonstrate a keen attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
8. Adhere to all RSK company policies and adhere to client policies and procedures when on site.
9. Supported by the company, maintain and develop technical knowledge, such as British Standards and industry standards
Experience and Qualifications:
10. Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a similar role is required.
11. Experience in the use of Total Stations and GNSS is essential.
12. Experience in the use of 3d Laser Scanners is preferred, but not essential.
13. Experience of using n4ce and Trimble Realworks software is desirable but not essential.
14. CSCS card holder preferred.
15. Relevant NVQ or degree level qualification is desirable but not essential.
16. Depending on qualifications already held the post holder will be expected to attend and pass internal and industry recognised external training courses.
17. Ability to follow instructions, work part of a multi-disciplinary team and also work solo, using own initiative.
18. Self-motivated, solutions focused, organised with effective time management.
19. Ability to conduct business in a professional and polite manner at all times.
20. Familiar with (leading to competent) using data management tools and reporting software including Microsoft Office and computer literate (training provided on other software).
21. Adaptable to variable working environments.
22. Ability to work remotely around the UK, including from home when agreed and approved.
23. Willingness to work flexible hours, when required.
24. A manual, valid UK driving license.
25. Commitment to safety and improving ways of working.

27. Salary between £28,000 & £34,000 depending on experience.
