This is a great opportunity for a Housing Manager to join Home Group's Regional Housing Team covering East Coast and Yorkshire.
As a Housing Manager, you'll be the frontline, face‑to‑face support for our customers and communities, playing a key role in delivering high-quality housing services. This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building strong neighbourhoods, and tackling anti‑social behaviour head on.
You may already have experience as a Housing Manager, or bring strong face‑to‑face customer service experience from a similar sector, with a real passion for neighbourhood management.

* Patch 1 – Leeds, Castleford, Selby

What you’ll do
* Understand the community that you work in, covering general needs, shared ownership and leasehold customers on your patch.
* Develop and maintain a community plan in collaboration with customers and external stakeholders.
* Represent Home Group in communities, carrying out core housing management tasks including estate and block inspections, anti‑social behaviour casework and tenancy matters.
* Work closely with the legal team to progress cases.
* Participate across other housing management functions.

You have
* A background in housing management processes, either within the housing sector or a similar sector.
* An understanding of housing management, housing law and customer service.
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
* Resilience to handle challenges, especially when dealing with ASB and complaints.
* Confidence working with external partners and stakeholders such as local authorities and statutory departments.
* Experience with hybrid working – working from home, in the community and occasional office.
* Ability to manage your own diary and be accountable for achieving KPI’s.
* Driving capability and access to a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage will be paid.
* Enhanced DBS check requirement; we pay for that.
* Willingness to travel across these two patches, with regular estate-based work and around three days a week in the community.
We’re looking to recruit colleagues who are well placed to travel across these two patches, as the role involves regular, estate‑based work.
