You will manage, develop and maintain the company's UK website, www.grantthornton.co.uk, ensuring it aligns with our growth plans and marketing automation strategy.
A look into the role
You will be the go‑to person responsible for website function, publishing, accessibility, content, analytics, SEO and user experience. The position requires strong technical ability, commercial awareness and the capacity to work across a large organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of the grantthorton.co.uk website to agreed business objectives and acquisition goals, including building pages, managing publishing schedules and working with stakeholders.
* Prioritise workload across the website, identifying and actioning tasks that drive growth and commercial value.
* Work closely with the marketing automation team to ensure the website is a critical part of the customer journey – including journey optimisation, reporting and testing.
* Conduct regular reviews of the website and user experience across our digital channels.
* Contribute to the website development roadmap, working with GTIL and development partners to ensure incremental improvements.
* Ensure web accessibility compliance and manage third‑party relationships and toolsets.
* Create training materials and deliver training on effective use of our web platform and templates.
* Provide advice and best‑practice guidance to various teams across Markets and Clients.
* Leverage technology to address business challenges and opportunities, driving commercial value.
* Review and report on progress of target search terms.
* Report and present website performance to key stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
* A university degree, relevant qualification or substantial experience managing a corporate website, ideally B2B.
* Extensive experience admin‑ing enterprise‑level CMS platforms (ideally Optimizely/EPiServer).
* Experience working closely with senior stakeholders and managing large‑scale website projects.
* Strong analytical background to interpret data and implement change.
* Experience in website personalisation, user experience and information architecture.
* Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
* Experience managing third‑party suppliers and contracts.
* Line‑management experience.
Desirable Skills
* Basic HTML, CSS and understanding of JavaScript functions.
* Experience with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Session Cam/Clarity, Siteimprove, Crownpeak DQM).
* Understanding of marketing automation and how websites fit into effective user journeys – ideally Dynamics 365.
* Experience with content management platforms.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., Photoshop).
