An established, award-winning architectural practice in Bradford is seeking a RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its growing team. The practice specialises in the logistics sector and is at the forefront of innovative E-bus and E-HGV charging infrastructure, delivering projects across the UK and internationally.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant (or Part 3/Architectural Technologist with equivalent experience) to gain exposure to technically robust commercial projects within a collaborative, forward-thinking studio environment.
The Role RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant.
This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of the Bradford office, with flexibility for part-time home working.
You will be involved across multiple stages of live projects, supporting design development through to technical delivery. The role offers strong progression opportunities for candidates looking to build experience in complex commercial schemes and sustainability-led design.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with the design, development, and delivery of architectural projects
Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
Supporting project coordination with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders
Contributing to the management of project timelines and budgets
Engaging with clients to help deliver innovative and sustainable design solutions
Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Essential criteria:
RIBA Part 2 qualification (minimum) or fully qualified Architectural Technologist
Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience at Part 2 level (or equivalent) in a UK based Architectural Practice.
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and technical standards
Proficiency in ArchiCAD (preferred), or experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Desirable experience:
Experience working on commercial or logistics-based projects
Exposure to sustainability-focused architectural practice
