Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team, are offering an opportunity for a shift 9 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Skipton Ambulance Station. Monday - Wednesday - Friday between 07:00 and 14:00, with shifts including 2 x 2.5 hours and 1 x 4 hours, with fixed daily working times to be agreed. Working days and times depend on operational needs, as Yorkshire Ambulance Service operates 24/7. Bank Holiday working may be required. A basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory prior to any unconditional employment offer. Please read the attached job description carefully before completing your application. Duties include:
* Cleaning, decontamination, and related tasks to meet high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures across stations and sites.
* Following Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and daily work schedules.
* Maintaining cleanliness standards across various areas including entrances, toilets, kitchens, gyms, training rooms, offices, external areas, and more.
* Managing stocks of cleaning materials and recording daily activities.
* Handling urgent spillages, ad-hoc cleaning, and deep cleaning as needed.
* Using basic IT for email and timesheet input (full support provided).
* Possessing NCFE IPC level 2 qualification.
Additional requirements:
* Flexible and adaptable attitude to schedule changes and support cover in different locations.
* Ability to work independently, plan tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively with senior staff.
* Willingness to undertake a basic 12-15 minute Physical Capability Assessment.
