TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting for experienced qualified Maths Teachers as well as Early Career Teachers to work on a temporary day to day, long-term or permanent basis. We have partnered with many secondary schools across Newport in need of Maths Teachers, meaning our need for good quality staff is at an all-time high. Our long-standing relationships with schools mean that we can find you the Maths Teacher position that's right for you, giving you guidance and advice along the way.
Our dedicated consultants have an ideal mix of skills and knowledge, coming from a background of both hands-on classroom experience and extensive recruitment experience. Many of our roles for qualified teachers have immediate start dates, with no need to wait until the new academic year to gain further experience.
Responsibilities
* Teach Maths to relevant key stages (KS4) as required by schools in the Newport area.
* Maintain excellent classroom management and provide a positive learning environment.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff.
Qualifications
* QTS with Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply).
* Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4.
* Excellent classroom management.
* Strong communication skills.
