This is not a traditional “requirements gatherer” BA role — we need someone who can bridge the gap between business and IT, engage confidently with technical teams, and work hands‑on with data to validate how systems behave.
In this role, you can expect to:
Business Analysis & Change
1. Capture and document business requirements across projects.
2. Work with Architecture, Development, Testing and Product teams to shape solutions.
3. Translate business problems into clear system and data requirements.
4. Support process optimisation and efficiency through better use of systems and data.
Technical & Data Responsibilities
5. Use SQL (or similar) to query, analyse and validate data.
6. Build simple Power BI reports or data views.
7. Understand core data structures, schemas and relationships.
8. Contribute to discussions on APIs, integrations and data contracts.
9. Work with technical teams to understand system architecture and data flows.
10. Validate system outputs against source data and transformation logic.
Project Delivery & Support
11. Support end -to-end delivery of key projects, ensuring timelines, quality and business benefits are achieved.
12. Produce clear project documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements etc..)
13. Assist with test planning and execution, including functional testing and data validation.
14. Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing systems, helping the squad meet SLAs.
You should apply if you have:
Technical & Data Skills
15. Ability to write and interpret SQL; comfortable analysing and validating data.
16. Experience with Power BI or similar tools for basic reporting and exploration.
17. Able to understand and analyse APIs, data contracts, schemas and system‑to‑system communication.
18. Awareness of core technology concepts such as databases, integrations, data flows and UI vs backend fundamentals.
Business Analysis & Delivery Skills
19. Experience in agile delivery, writing user stories and managing backlogs.
20. Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
21. Strong analytical and requirement‑refinement skills.
22. Ability to work with both business and technical teams to define actionable solutions.
23. Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management.
