Hours:
* Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings: 7:00pm – 10:00pm
* On-site sleep-in shifts: 10:00pm – 8:00am (following morning)

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Mental Health Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals with mental health needs, ensuring a safe, supportive, and respectful environment during evening hours and overnight stays.
This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, patient, and committed to helping others maintain their independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs.
* Offer emotional reassurance and practical assistance during evening hours.
* Maintain a safe and calm environment overnight while on site.
* Respond appropriately to any issues or emergencies during sleep-in shifts.
* Encourage independence, dignity, and choice in line with individual care plans.
* Keep accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care, support, or mental health setting (preferred but not essential – training can be provided).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.
* Reliability and flexibility to work evenings and overnight.
* A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
