We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef to join our small professional culinary team. Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and production.
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
* Oversee food safety procedures, maintaining compliance with health regulations and best practices.
* Support in developing menus, recipes, and presentation standards that align with the establishment's brand.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
* Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members to foster skill development and team cohesion.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
* Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment.
* Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.

Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
