Join Our Team as a Female Specialist Support Worker
Location:
Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary:
£12.30 per hour (£23,985 per annum) plus benefits.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, 14-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement:
A valid full UK driving license is essential. Applications without a valid UK license will not be considered.

Role Responsibilities
As a Female Positive Behaviour Support Worker, your duties will include:
1. Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily tasks.
2. Building Relationships: Understanding and supporting individual needs and preferences.
3. Empowering Independence: Supporting personal goals and encouraging exploration.
4. Social Engagement: Facilitating activities and hobbies.
5. Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful and dignified treatment for all.
Supporting Individuals
Support involves working with individuals with complex needs, including epilepsy and communication challenges, requiring patience, reliability, and a positive attitude. Specific individuals include CB, who enjoys music and needs support with communication and daily activities, and AH, who has limited communication skills and engages in various activities throughout the week, including farm work, arts, hydrotherapy, and gardening.
