Electrical Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire, England, United Kingdom.
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Type: Permanent (Full‑time).

Responsibilities
* Design electrical systems and control architectures for equipment integration.
* Produce and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
* Support the development and improvement of engineering processes.
* Generate BOMs and ensure accurate documentation within the MRP system.
* Coordinate project requirements with internal teams.
* Work with manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety, quality and H&S standards.
* Assist in the commissioning and testing of equipment.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
* Collaborate in a small multi‑disciplinary team on varied and technically challenging projects.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree/HNC/HND/BTEC/NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar.
* 2‑4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong electrical design skills with ability to design and develop control systems.
* Background in Water/Chemical/O&G/Aerospace/Automation industries is ideal.
* Experience with electrical CAD software such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or similar.
* Knowledge of PLCs, control panels, instrumentation, and low‑voltage systems.
* Understanding of relevant standards (BS7671, IEC, etc.).
* Strong project management skills.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills.
* Proven leadership ability and motivation of others.
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
