Senior Authorised Person – BESS Project – North Scotland (Island Based) - 4 Month contract - August Start I’m working with a client delivering a BESS project up in North Scotland, who will be responsible for energisation, commissioning, and bringing the site online. The role: Acting as SAP through energisation, cold & hot commissioning Managing permits, switching, and safety Working across 33kV infrastructure (SFTS) Coordinating with SSEN / SHEPD networks (cross-boundary work) Overseeing BESS integration & witness testing Requirements: Proven SAP experience within DNO environments or private networks Experience on BESS or power station projects Comfortable managing energisation end to end Contract details: August start 4 months Day rate, outside IR35 Monday to Friday, 10–12 hour days Island based in North Scotland If you are interested in the position and are happy to work in the North of Scotland, please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com
