The EMS vBU is PwC’s dedicated team of managed services specialists who work together to find and win EMS work for the firm. It consists of a group of EMS Go-To-Market partners supported by a breadth of enabling capabilities, including strategy, communications, governance, digital, and our industry-leading Sales & Solution team. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to sit within this Sales & Solutioning Team, to lead the execution of a robust EMS-solutioning methodology, monitoring its performance along with our ability to find and win managed service-led work.
A robust solutioning function is essential to drive growth in managed services by leveraging our firm’s capabilities to shape differentiated solutions. The Solutioning Team is responsible for designing, scaling and contracting competitive and high quality managed service solutions that address our client’s biggest challenges.
What your days will look like:
1. Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and requirements.
2. Ensure all opportunities, before they are solutioned, are appropriately qualified, this includes preparation of qualification papers for review meetings.
3. Design and propose comprehensive solutions that address the client's needs, whether they are technological, operational, or a combination of both.
4. Create high-level designs, including operating and delivery models, transition and implementation plans. Ensure the proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and cost-effective, ensure robust documentation of solution assumptions and dependencies.
5. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
6. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the value and ROI of the proposed solutions.
This role is for you if you have:
7. Experience in leading solutions that are multi-service, new and are large and complex
8. Knowledge of the latest market trends, industry best practices, and innovations.
9. The ability to Incorporate innovative solutions and approaches into proposals.
10. An understanding of solution levers, commercial and contractual constructs (T&M, Fixed Price, Risk/Reward, etc) and the solution and cost aspects relating to these to provide a layer of protection to the underlying solution.
