Overview
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, be aware of changes impacting care and care plans, ensure new needs are met, and update written records to reflect variations.
* Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, including implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Requirements
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
* DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
