Job Details
Salary: Up to £78,600 incl. car allowance, annual bonus, generous pension contribution, private medical and life assurance.
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
Location: Home based with travel to Southampton.

Responsibilities
* Work on energy performance upgrade projects.
* Commercial control of contracts, bids, and processes.
* Identify risks, liabilities and commitments in contracts and ensure business awareness.
* Protect commercial interests of delivery team.
* Lead, mentor and manage team staff.
* Estimate and implement cost control mechanisms.
* Manage subcontracting – enquiry, drafting, measurement, valuation, agreement & payment.
* Lead project procurement.
* Provide timely management reports to Project Manager and senior leadership.
* Commercial support to other business departments.
* Handle day-to-day commercial and subcontract administration issues.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in stakeholder management and problem solving.
* Relevant HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* In-depth knowledge of NEC, JCT, IChemE contract forms.
* Experience in main contracting within Industrial, Water and/or Energy sectors.
* Knowledge of operations and maintenance contracting beneficial.
* Multi-disciplinary experience as a Quantity Surveyor valued.
