A specialist SEN school in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. The role involves supporting children aged 4–16 with a range of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans
* Support pupils with emotional and behavioural challenges
* Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
* Help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with SEN pupils in education or care
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Skilled in de-escalation and behaviour support
* Comfortable working in a PRU or specialist setting
