Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated, kind and compassionate individual to provide high‑quality care to elderly people in their own homes in Chingford and North East London. Your role will involve:
* Delivering personal care such as bathing, showering, and providing companionship.
* Assisting with daily activities including visiting coffee shops, hairdressers, hospital appointments, and shopping for weekly goods.
* Helping with housework and ensuring the home is safe and clean.
* Listening to clients’ stories, building trust, and fostering a positive, confidence‑building relationship.
* Communicating with the team and keeping client welfare as the priority.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, however you should be:
* Able to build great working relationships with regular clients.
* Capable of providing supportive personal care such as bathing or showering.
* Comfortable giving companionship and engaging in a friendly and responsive manner.
* Help with housework and maintaining a safe, clean home environment.
* Good listener, gaining trust through conversation and understanding clients’ histories.
* Team‑player, communicating when necessary and focusing on client interests.
