Exams Officer - Secondary School - Enfield
Location: Enfield, North London
Job Type: Full-time, Term-time only (plus additional weeks)
Pay: £110-£130 per day (depending on experience)
A well-organised and inclusive secondary school in Enfield is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Exams Officer to manage and oversee all aspects of the school's examination process. This full-time, term-time position (with some additional days during exam periods) is ideal for someone with strong administration skills, experience in education, and a calm, methodical approach.
You'll play a vital role in ensuring that both internal and external exams run smoothly-from planning and entry to delivery and results. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on responsibility and wants to make a difference behind the scenes in education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the full exam cycle, including entries, timetabling, invigilation and results
2. Liaise with exam boards and ensure compliance with JCQ regulations
3. Manage exam-related communications with students, staff and parents
4. Recruit, train and schedule invigilators
5. Maintain accurate student records and handle secure storage and distribution of papers
What We're Looking For:
6. Experience in school administration, ideally with previous exams officer or data support experience
7. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
8. Confident using school systems (. SIMS, Arbor, and Microsoft Office
9. Clear, professional communication and a calm approach under pressure
10. Understanding of data protection and exam board compliance (training provided if needed)
