Job Title: Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) – Part Time Location: Wigston, Leicester (LE18) Salary: £19.00 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience) Paid Breaks Hours: 24 Hours per Week Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time About the Role We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established, family-run dual-registered nursing home in Wigston, Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment where high-quality, person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will work a mixture of day and night shifts and play a key role in delivering outstanding nursing care to residents. Shift Pattern • 24 hours per week • Mixture of: Day Shifts: 8:00am – 8:00pm Short Day Shifts: 8:00am – 2:00pm Night Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am • Must be able to work alternate weekends Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans • Administer medication safely and accurately • Monitor, assess, and record residents’ health and wellbeing • Support residents with dignity, respect, and compassion • Work collaboratively with care staff, families, GPs, and healthcare professionals • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation • Ensure compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding procedures, and company policies • Promote a safe and positive environment for residents and colleagues Requirements • Valid NMC Pin (RGN preferred) • RMN candidates with previous nursing home experience will also be considered • Strong clinical skills and nursing knowledge • Previous experience within a nursing home or elderly care setting preferred • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Reliable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach • Must drive or live locally to LE18 due to shift patterns and limited public transport availability What We Offer • £19.00 per hour with paid breaks • Salary negotiable depending on experience • Supportive family-run environment • Ongoing training and development opportunities • Free on-site parking • Strong management and clinical support If you are a caring and committed Nurse looking for a supportive part-time opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
