Overview
A growing organisation on the outskirts of Glasgow is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support a busy finance function during a period of transition. This is a hands‑on role, with a strong focus on management accounting, alongside meaningful business partnering with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge
* Assist with month‑end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
* Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve financial processes
* Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision‑making during the contract period
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS), although experienced QBE candidates will be considered
* Strong management accounting background with proven business partnering experience
* Confident communicator able to work with non‑finance stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and hitting the ground running
* Available immediately or at very short notice
Salary
£380 - £400 per day
