Position Overview

We provide state-of-the-art engineering software solutions globally.
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to own testing and quality assurance for our InfoWorks ICM application, which models complex hydraulic and hydrologic networks. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans, reporting defects, creating regression automation scripts, and analyzing failures. The ideal candidate is a motivated, creative engineer eager to contribute in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensure testing activities meet business and system requirements, fulfill end-user needs, and identify potential issues.
* Plan and execute manual test cases for ongoing feature development in Autodesk’s Water Lifecycle desktop products.
* Report and interpret test results to provide meaningful feedback to Scrum teams.
* Develop and execute automated regression tests using OpenText (Micro Focus) UFT, analyzing script failures.
* Maintain up-to-date QA documentation.
* Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Required Qualifications
* Experience with engineering software.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
* Proficiency with OpenText (Micro Focus) UFT or similar automation tools for desktop testing.
* Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with end users and resolving issues.
* 5+ years of industry experience in a fast-paced, high-performance, distributed systems environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Exposure to GIS and geospatial data.
* Experience with water modeling.
* Project management experience within software development teams.
