Key Details
* Locations: based in various locations throughout Lanarkshire.
* Wage: Band 2 (£26 696 – £28 988).
* Duration: fixed‑term position for 12 months starting 18th August 2026. Part‑time hours available with pro‑rated salary.
* Eligibility: applicants aged 16 to 24 on 1st August 2026 (or up to 29 if applicant has a disability or care experience). Must demonstrate proficiency at SCQF level 5/National 5 level.

Duties as a Healthcare Assistant in the community may include
* Personal care: assisting with bathing, dressing and oral hygiene.
* Clinical support: performing basic clinical tasks such as taking temperatures or blood pressures under supervision.
* Community care: visiting patients at home, assisting with meals and monitoring conditions.
* Documentation: reporting patient conditions to registered staff.
* Safety & hygiene: ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
No Prior Experience Necessary
This apprenticeship welcomes applicants with limited work experience, including school leavers.
