About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategically minded individual to join our expanding Accountancy and Advisory team. We are open to recruiting this role at Partner or Director level, so we are keen to hear from ambitious candidates ready for that challenge and who are looking to make a positive impact within a rapidly expanding firm.
Day to Day Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with our owner‑managed business clients and offer a quality trusted advisor service.
* Monitor developments in the accounting marketplace to retain competitiveness and efficiency of service provision.
* Play a pivotal role in business development activities and build/retain a network of local contacts to support service line growth.
* Work with the SMT to recruit, coach and develop our team, including succession planning.
* Collaborate with the head of the service line and other Partners to formulate and deliver the firmwide accounting and advisory services strategy.
About You
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in a business services environment.
* A strong business developer keen to build contacts and network within the local business community.
* Deep knowledge of market developments, especially cloud‑based systems and outsourcing opportunities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence at all levels.
* Strong people manager who enjoys building and developing a team.
* Enthusiastic about contributing to the overall success of Bishop Fleming.
