The Post
Brent is seeking compassionate, committed, and community‑minded carers to join our dedicated network. You will offer companionship, support, and care in a family environment – whether it’s short breaks, weekends, or long‑term living. This flexible role can be shaped around your schedule.
Shared Lives Carers Support Adults Aged 18 And Over Who Need Extra Support To Live Independently. This May Include People With
* Learning disabilities
* Physical disabilities
* Mental health needs
* Dementia
* Support needs after hospital discharge
Carers are paid for their time and expenses. Many find this role a full‑time career and a deeply rewarding way of life.
The Person
You do not need formal care experience – just the right values and a willingness to share your home and passions. To become a carer, you must:
* Be at least 18 years old
* Live in the UK full‑time or hold leave to remain
* Have time and space to support someone either full or part‑time
* Have a spare bedroom (if offering overnight support)
* Be supported by your household
* Be caring, patient, and supportive
* Committed to providing consistent care and stability
Applicants will complete an assessment, including background checks, interviews, training, and home visits.

* Earn £437.68 – £596.18 per adult (depending on needs and experience)
