Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client, a leading producer of mechanical pipe joining and flow control solutions who are on the lookout for a Sales Engineer to cover the London and Southern Region.
The ideal candidate will be based in or around London and will have technical knowledge infrastructure and non infrastructure project management and work as part of a customer facing team.
What you will do
* Promote the systems to the UK water industry, including water companies, designers, contractors, pipe fabricators, and distributors
* Work with owners and engineering consultants to gain acceptance and incorporate company solutions in project specifications and drawings
* Collaborate with contractors to integrate company systems in estimating processes, planning, and construction
* Lead the development of proposals for alternate pipe build strategies
* Increase awareness and knowledge of the company through technical seminars, customer training, and design support
* Become a thought leader through participation in industry organizations and events
* Visit job sites to support contractor training and product installation
* Co-ordinate with sales colleagues in the territory
