This is a great opportunity to join our Sales team as a Sales Account Manager (SAM), supporting our business’ aim to be a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, partnering with customers on their journey towards carbon neutrality, and serving 5-10% of the UK business energy market by 2030.
Role Details
* Reporting to the Mid-Market Sales Manager, the role involves client care, regular contact with current and prospective clients, and travel to meet customers face-to-face. The role is desk-based in Milton Keynes with regular communication via telephone.
* Develop new and existing broker and direct customer accounts, focusing on energy and added value products, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
* Proactively price, negotiate, and close energy contracts; cross-sell products; manage customer queries; and contribute to team and company goals.
* Utilize tools like Salesforce for customer management and reporting.
* Achieve sales targets and KPIs, produce sales plans, and support internal teams.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates with sales experience in the utilities/energy sector, successful B2B sales track record, and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
