Qualified Social Worker - MASH North Somerset Council Pay rate £38 per hour Umbrella Hoop Recruitment are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Front Door service / Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub in North Somerset. This is an exciting time to be joining the MASH, which acts as a first point of contact for Children's Social Care enabling members of the public and professionals to raise concerns about the welfare of Children. This role is an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend. Pay rate for this role is set at £38 per hour Umbrella. Full time candidates preferred. Duties and responsibilities for this role: Risk assessment of contacts / referrals to the MASH Early identification of those at risk including multi-agency strategy discussions for decision making and safeguarding actions Carrying out initial visits to families in crisis where a referral has been received Triage the family then pass over to the initial directions team To apply for this role, you will need to hold - A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker A relevant Social Work Qualification Registration with Social Work England Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS 3 Years of referencing Driving license with access to a car DfE compliant Benefits of working for Hoop: 20 years’ experience of the Social Work market Your local agency based in Cardiff Welsh-speaking consultant available should you wish to converse in Welsh throughout your job search PAYE and Umbrella payroll options available – you choose!
