Role Overview

Location – Great Moor, Stockport. Working Pattern – 37.5 hours per week, worked flexibly over five days. Weekend working will be required. Shift timings are (early’s) 07:50 - 15:50 or (lates) 15:30 - 22:30. Salary – £26,230 per annum (£13.45 per hour). Time and a quarter enhancement for all weekend hours worked. Sleep‑in payment of £107.60 for any sleep shifts worked.

Role Summary

You will be a Specialist Community Support Worker in our supported living service, providing care, support and promoting independence and inclusion within the local community.


Responsibilities

* Work alone or as part of a team, maintaining and encouraging open and honest lines of communication.
* Support a service user alone in the community, undertaking daily activities such as shopping, visiting places of interest and eating out.
* Undertake the full range of tasks as outlined in the job description, in a well‑planned way that respects and values children and their families.
* Provide high levels of support and ensure safety of service users.
* Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding and safe‑working procedures.


Qualifications

* Positive and enthusiastic approach.
* Friendly and a great communicator.
* Eager to provide high levels of support.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Willingness to undertake lone working.
