Responsibilities
:
1. Manage commercial functions on multiple residential schemes
2. Prepare budgets, cost plans, valuations, and reports
3. Procure subcontractors and support negotiations
4. Administer contracts, payments, and variations
5. Monitor costs and challenge overspend
6. Work with construction/technical teams to support delivery
7. Build and maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships
Requirements:
8. HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
9. Experience as Assistant QS or QS in residential construction
10. Commercial awareness and strong communication skills
11. Understanding of construction processes and standard contracts
12. Ambition to progress to Senior Quantity Surveyor
13. RICS/CIOB membership (or working towards) desirable
