About the Role
Our client, a leading provider of financial technology and investor communications solutions, is seeking a high-performing Sales Director to join their expanding EMEA sales team. This role will be instrumental in driving new business across the region, focusing on financial institutions such as banks, brokers, asset managers, and asset owners.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a defined territory, developing a robust sales pipeline and delivering against new business revenue targets. This is a senior, client-facing role reporting to the Head of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute Territory and Account Plans to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Build a deep understanding of the company’s suite of Investor Communications Solutions, regulatory environments, and client needs.
* Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, industry networking, and events.
* Lead end-to-end sales processes including discovery, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, commercial negotiations, and contract sign-off.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Pre-Sales, Legal, Product Management, Marketing, and Implementation to ensure successful sales execution and client onboarding.
* Represent the business at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
* Lead or contribute to strategic projects related to sales initiatives and client development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
* 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales, pre-sales, or business development.
* Proven track record of successfully selling into banks, brokers, or asset managers.
* Prior experience in investor communications, securities services, or corporate governance is highly advantageous.
* Confident operating across EMEA, with willingness to travel as required.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term client relationships.
* Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a plus.

* Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex sales processes simultaneously.
* Confident presenting to senior-level stakeholders internally and externally.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
