The Business Analysis & Operations Senior Manager will drive consistency across the Global Development (GD) IT team & IT community. This role will be a key team member at the Cambridge/ Boston Offices building relationships and representing Corporate IT. This individual will partner with key business partners to intake, design implement and enhance solutions including production support, and work closely with GD IT Business Solution Partners, and Agile Delivery and Operations leads to deliver requirements. The resource will also work closely with their business counterparts, Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Training, Process & Procedures and Research IT teams members.
As a Global Development IT Sr Manager (Business Analysis & Operations), a typical day might include:
1. Function as point of contact for GD IT for Boston/Cambridge based needs including partner with GD & Research business units, and support IT teams and vendors.
2. Responsible for ensuring day-to-day operational support meets business expectations and compliance requirements.
3. Provide direction and subject matter expertise on projects and IT products to effectively manage business user expectations, timelines, budget and overall efforts for value realization.
4. Work collaboratively with GD & Research functions, Corporate IT, and other relevant functions in the management of enterprise systems, including development and adherence to standards and governance.
5. Develop frameworks to bring together accurate, measurable requirements that drive project outcomes.
6. Create flexible processes & frameworks in support of traditional (e.g., waterfall) and hybrid (e.g., agile) delivery methods.
7. Collect GD IT operational metrics, analyze, identify & develop action plans for areas of improvement.
8. Introduce new ideas, approaches, solutions and technologies for GD IT.
9. Collaborate with GD IT BSP’s, and Agile Delivery and Operations leads to ensure that solutions are appropriately planned, implemented, and improved upon.
10. Support other IT related needs across Boston/Cambridge sites.

To be considered for this role, you must have BS/BA Degree with 8+ years relevant experience orMS/MA/MBA degree and 6+ years relevant experience. Knowledge of pharmaceutical Research & Global Development business capabilities, processes, systems, and key trends in the industry.
Experience in one or more of the following Clinical Development functions in support of IT – Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Global Patient Safety, Clinical Operations, BioStats & Data Management, Clinical Quality. Experience working within and knowledge of GXP/GCP and regulatory ICH 6 guidelines. Strong knowledge of technologies such as Veeva, Medidata and/or off-the-shelf software products for Clinical and Regulatory. Experience and/or knowledge of Cell Medicines in support of IT (CAR- T and T cell research). Experience with Waterfall/Hybrid/Agile project methodologies. A minimum of 3 days a week onsite as well as monthly travel to NY corporate site.
