Roles And Responsibilities
These positions offer career growth opportunities for professionals with relevant experience in quantitatively intense areas, particularly within financial services. Key responsibilities include project management and delivering high-quality client work. Initial responsibilities will vary by role, and typically involve:
* Associate Team Leaders and Team Leaders typically work on one project at a time; Directors may work on two smaller assignments or one larger, complex project
* Developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses; conducting primary and secondary research; surfacing insights; and overseeing analysts
* Using Partners and internal networks to provide technical and senior-level steer to projects
* Collaborating with clients to complete project deliverables to a high standard
* Maintaining energy and a positive work-life balance for the team
* Coaching Oliver Wyman and client team members to develop skills
Your Attributes And Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, Engineering)
* Strong analysis, documentation, and communication skills
* Experience with advanced analytics and data manipulation software (R, Python, SAS, SQL, or SPSS)
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently within defined timelines
* Present results clearly, identify issues and implications
* Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
* Ability to manage demanding work volume and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Willingness to travel regularly
* Associate Team Leader – At least 3 years of prior experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking or financial institutions
* Team Leader – At least 5 years of prior experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking or financial institutions
* Director – At least 8 years of prior experience in specialised consulting firms, top-tier banking or financial institutions
