This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Turner, based in Poole. The CNC Turner will operate and set FANUC CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components. Responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools and materials, conducting setup operations, monitoring machine performance, and ensuring final product quality.
Qualifications
* Skilled in operating and setting CNC turning machines, with experience in using relevant tools and software.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Knowledge of quality control measures, including inspection processes and standards for manufactured components.
* Understanding of workshop safety practices and equipment maintenance protocols.
* Experience working with various materials and producing precision parts to tight tolerances.
* Solid problem-solving skills, time management capabilities, and ability to work as part of a team.
* Previous experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry
