ICT Technician (Working across Barking Abbey School & Eastbrook School)
Start Date: ASAP
Permanent contract, 35 hours per week, Full Time
Salary Scale: Scale 6 (Point 18 (£35,520) – Point (£36,585))
Barking Abbey School and Eastbrook School are working together under the same leadership, and we are looking for an ICT Technician to join our dynamic ICT Support Team.
Responsibilities
* Provide ICT support to ensure the daily operation of the schools is maintained.
* Support a large and extensive IT estate spread across two school sites.
* Work closely with the Network Manager to meet the schools’ operational needs and deliver first-class support to staff and students.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience in supporting school ICT systems.
* A can-do attitude and positive approach.
* Ability to prioritise workload and think creatively to solve problems.
* Commitment to the school’s high expectations and ethos.
* Desire to work collaboratively and contribute to a growing professional service department in school.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust messaging for all school stakeholders.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and logical problem-solving abilities.
* Flexibility to work in a varied role and during busy periods.
