We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Agent to join our Aggregates and Asphalt distribution team, based at Breedon on the Hill, Derbyshire. This role will report into the Distribution Supervisor.At Breedon, we pride ourselves on our excellent customer service; in making a material difference to our customers. Our customers love the fact that we pick up the phone, understand what they need and consistently deliver. You’ll be an ideal fit for this position if you enjoy building relationships and have a great sense of humour.You’ll be working Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday morning.Please note, this role is to be fulfilled within the Breedon offices, full time.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dealing with inbound enquiries from customers, processing, planning and organising the transport of the ordered goods.
2. To respond to enquiries in a timely manager, including tracking order and communicating with key stakeholders, from start to the point the goods are delivered to the customer.
3. Working collaboratively with customers and commercial teams to ensure the best service
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
4. Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written
5. High attention to detail
6. Efficient multi-tasker
7. Ability to build rapport with customers and peers within your team
8. Experience or knowledge in Aggregates and Asphalt is desirable, however not essential and full training will be provided.
