The Role
This position offers a broad mix of planning work, givingyou the chance to develop both technical consultancy skills and client-facingconfidence.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparingand submitting full and outline planning applications
* DraftingPlanning Statements and supporting documents
* Assistingwith pre-application submissions and planning strategy work
* SupportingLocal Plan representations and site promotion activity
* Assistingwith appeal submissions, statements of case and evidence gathering
* Liaisingwith planning officers, consultees and project teams
* Attendingclient meetings and site visits across the South Coast
You will work closely with senior colleagues on largerschemes while also taking ownership of smaller applications.
About You
* MRTPIqualified or working towards chartership
* Experiencegained in consultancy, local authority or developer-side environments
* Strongreport writing and analytical skills
* Acommercially aware and proactive approach
* Confidentcommunicator with a desire to build long-term consultancy experience
