Digital Product Manager – Mobile Banking Transformation
Robert Half is supporting Protiviti Consulting on a
global digital transformation programme
within the banking sector, redesigning and consolidating digital customer journeys into the
mobile banking app
to increase adoption and improve customer experience. This is a
hands-on Associate Digital Product Manager role
, working with cross-market teams and contributing to major initiatives to shape the future of mobile banking experiences.
Contract Assignment Details:
* Location:
London (Hybrid 1–2 days per week)
* Duration:
Initial 3–6 months (with potential extension)
* Day Rate:
£410 PAYE per day PLUS 12.07% holiday pay accrued
(employer's NI & tax deducted at source – no umbrella company fees)
* Start Date:
Subject to Protiviti onboarding and technology setup (approx. 2 weeks turnaround)
Role Responsibilities:
* Manage the
full product lifecycle
for mobile banking journeys, ensuring customer needs and business outcomes are met.
* Act as
owner/champion
for one or more app features; use research, feedback, and data to drive improvements.
* Redesign and integrate
servicing and support journeys
(including contact centre) into the app.
* Define and prioritise the
backlog and roadmap
, overseeing pilots, launches, comms, and training.
* Lead cross-functional squads (analysts, designers, engineers, data specialists) in an Agile/SAFe environment.
* Collaborate with Technology & Transformation teams to deliver on time, resolving blockers as required.
* Partner with global and market stakeholders to align priorities and drive adoption.
* Contribute to programme objectives around deeper engagement, revenue growth, global standardisation, modern architecture, and data-driven personalisation.
Experience Needed:
* Proven
Digital Product Management
experience, ideally in
mobile banking
or other large-scale consumer apps.
* Experience working in
global or regional programmes
, balancing local and global priorities.
* Strong understanding of
customer journey design
, app usage, and digital channel transformation.
* Financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
* Experience with
Agile/SAFe
, quarterly planning, and backlog ownership.
* Familiarity with
Design Thinking
and early-stage discovery work.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across markets and functions.
