The University’s School of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied and Public Health is the University’s academic and professional home for Nursing, and the Allied Health Professions, and for all those interested in improving public health and well-being. Our mission is to facilitate, educate and innovate to improve lives.
We offer an exciting portfolio of nursing and applied healthcare courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels alongside internationally renowned applied research in implementation and diagnostic practice and policy. The School provides courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels for Nursing, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Medical Ultrasound, Clinical Reporting, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science, Speech & Language Therapy and Operating Department Practice.

The Role
We provide education in Occupational Therapy at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, to widen access to careers within occupational therapy. The occupational therapy team are actively involved in research and scholarly activity that explores a range of contemporary issues in professional practice and workforce development including social justice issues in practice.
We hope to recruit a colleague to join our academic team who shares our passion for supporting the development of occupational therapy, who will contribute to our courses and research developments. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with staff in Allied & Public Health and across the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied and Public Health to advance interprofessional education and research.
