A Cover Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School and Sixth Form in South West London.
This Cover Teacher position can be part or full time and be short term in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Teacher, your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Covering different classes in the absence of teachers
* Promoting positive behaviour in pupils
* Upholding all the schools policies
* Carrying out basic administration and ICT tasks
* Working effectively with other team members
The rates of pay for this Cover Teacher post will be between GBP82.14 to GBP130 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
An Outstanding Secondary School and Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.
It is a mixed, 11 : 18, non:selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.
90 of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.
The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.
Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.
Requirements
You will be considered if youre a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if youre a British trained Cover Teacher or overseas trained Cover Teacher.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Teacher:
* Right to work in the UK
* Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
* UK Bachelors Degree or an overseas equivalent
* Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Teacher in UK schools
