What does the role involve?
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you'll support the delivery of various projects for key clients within a multidisciplinary design team. Your responsibilities will span from project feasibility to detailed design and construction support, working on small, medium, and large iconic projects.
Typically, you will:
* Produce design deliverables including calculations, drawings, sketches, and reports to achieve optimal engineering solutions in line with the Integrated Management System and project requirements.
* Check supplier proposals against project requirements.
* Liaise with and manage equipment suppliers during project execution.
* Participate in technical reviews and internal project meetings.
* Recommend and implement improvements to technical policy, processes, and design solutions.
What do you need to be successful in the role?
You should have a recognized academic qualification in Building Services (such as a Degree, HND, or HNC) and be working towards a professional qualification and Chartership/membership of an appropriate professional body like CIBSE.
Familiarity with BREEAM and energy assessment qualifications, as well as experience working on high-rise and technically complex buildings, will be advantageous.
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but recent graduates seeking their next career step are also encouraged to apply.
